• Galvanising units of Natabar Paul Road, Howrah,installing a Common Effluent Treatment Plant for treatment of liquid waste.

Steps for financial assistance

[A] For coal fired boiler operators who want to join the project

If you are in the process of conversion of old boiler and want to join the project

• Collect Application form for the units situated within KMC from Paribesh Bhawan, 2^nd Floor, Kolkata for accessing financial assistance from ICEF project by 01.10.2005

• Collect Application form for the units situated beyond KMC within KMA from Paribesh Bhawan, 2^nd Floor, Kolkata for accessing financial assistance from ICEF project by 01.10.2005

• Fill up the form carefully and submit the filled up form with necessary attachments (List A) at an earliest

• Finish the installation of new cleaner fuel fired boiler or retrofitted boiler

• Demolish the old coalfired boiler

• Commission the cleaner fuel fired boiler

• Ensure full commissioning.

• Obtain the commissioning Certificate from the suppliers

• Obtain full payment certificate from the suppliers once the payment is completed

• Take photographs of the new installation

• Inform the Board regarding the full conversion of the boiler with necessary attachments (List B)

If you have completed the conversion of old boiler and want to join the project

• Collect Application form for the units situated within KMC from Paribesh Bhawan, 2^nd Floor, Kolkata for accessing financial assistance from ICEF project by 01.10.2005

• Collect Application form for the units situated beyond KMC within KMA from Paribesh Bhawan, 2^nd Floor, Kolkata for accessing financial assistance from ICEF project by 01.10.2005

• Obtain the commissioning Certificate from the suppliers

• Obtain full payment certificate from the suppliers once the payment is complete

• Ensure full commissioning

• Take photographs of the new installation

[B] For coal fired Ceramic kiln operators who want to join the project

If you are in the process of conversion of old kiln and want to join the project

• Collect Application form from Paribesh Bhawan, 2^nd Floor, Kolkata for accessing financial assistance from ICEF project by 01.10.2005

• Fill up the form carefully and submit the filled up form with necessaryattachments (List A) at an earliest

If you have completed the conversion of old kiln and want to join the project

• Collect Application form from Paribesh Bhawan, 2^nd Floor, Kolkata for accessing financial assistance from ICEF project by 01.10.2005

• Obtain the commissioning Certificate from the suppliers

• Obtain full payment certificate(s) from the suppliers once the payment is complete

• Ensure full commissioning

• Take photographs of the new installation

• Demolish the old coalfired kiln

• Commission the cleaner fuel fired kiln

• Fill up the form carefully and submit the filled up form with necessary attachments (List C) at an earliest

After receipt of the properly filled up applications from the entrepreneurs

• The new installation/retrofieted installation will be inspected by the Board officials

• The Project Scrutiny Committee will scrutiny the papers submitted for the financial assistance

• If Scrutiny Committee is satisfied fund will be disbursed

Proposed Activity Schedule for the subproject for Emission Control device for Waste Plastic Reprocessors (excluding PVC manufacturers) operating in KMA under WBPCB ICEF project

• The unit shall submit the ‘Expression of Willingness to install the emission control device and obtain necessary regulatory permits’ through proper applications

• The Board shall process this applications and issue provisional permission to run the industry temporarily

• The units shall obtain trade license and certificates from Municipal corporations, municipalities, DICs as applicable

• The unit may join ICEF project for obtaining 50% reimbursement through submission of financial application
