Theme: Noise Pollution 'No Horn' at Silence Zone involving local NGOs and school children and Beach Cleaning Programme	14.01.2011	Digha, Purba Medinipur	Board organized the campaign programme with active cooperation of the local NGO Charaikheya United Club and 4 other local NGOs at Old Digha and New Digha Bus Terminus, near Digha State General Hospital, Purba Medinipur district. Students of 3 no.s of local school participated in this programme. Total no. of 90 participants attended the programme. During Beach cleaning programme the participants cleaned the long stretch of beach from Old Digha to New Digha by collecting waste plastic, paper and other wastes in jute bags. At the end, the collected wastes were handed over to local recyclers.
Theme: Noise Pollution 'No Horn' at Silence Zone involving local NGOs and school children	11.01.2011	Bahrampur, Murshidabad	Board organized the campaign programme in front of Berhampore Mental Hospital, Kashesari Girls' School and Krishnanath Collegiate School, Murshidabad district with active cooperation of the local NGO My Dear Trees & wilds. Students of 3 no.s of local school participated in this programme. Total no. of 110 participants attended the programme.
Maidan Cleaning Programme	04.01.2011	Kolkata Maidan	Prof P.N. Roy, Chairman, West Bengal Pollution control Board inaugurated the programme and delivered his speech explaining the objective of the programme and also encouraged the participants to be more concern about the environment. Representatives of Kolkata Police, Kolkata Municipal Authority and eminent sports personality were also graced the occasion and delivered their speeches. Students of La'Martiniere Boys' & Girls' and Pratt Memorial for Girls' attended the Programme. Members from local NGOs also participated in this programme.

The valuable lectures were given on Environmental Laws- Legal provisions on pollution control, Elements of vehicular Air Pollution, Demonstration of Auto Emission Testing Procedures, Noise Pollution Monitoring and Control. After that, there was a screening of an Oscar-winning film on Climate change- 'An Inconvenient Truth'. At the end, all the participants were awarded with certificates.

Theme : Biodiversity Environmental awareness programme for underprivileged children	09.02.2007 & 10.02.2007	Digha Science Centre, Digha, East Midnapore & National Science Camp	A total of 73 students and 12 teachers from 2 schools participated in 5 competitive events during the programme.
Theme : Environmental Studies Workshop on Conservation of Biodiversity	09.02.2007	Mokdumpur, Malda	A total of 150 students and teachers from 10 schools participated in the programme.
Theme : Forest & Wildlife Nature trail for Children (including underprivileged ones)	02.02.2007	Science City	A total of 320 students from 14 schools participated in competitive events like open house, quiz, nature trail, etc.
