As part of the awareness raising programmes of the Environmental Campaign, WBPCB provides training to all sections of the society, including the students of colleges and universities. In this connection, a training programme was organised at Paribesh Bhawan on 01.08.03 & 02.08.03, with the Department of Environment Science, Ashutosh College, Kolkata being the key collaborator. 12 post-graduate students from the Environment Science Department of Ashutosh College participated in this two-day training programme, which provided an insight to the various aspects and issues of environmental pollution, the related laws, rules and regulations, and their applicability.
