Project Implementation Unit
The overall responsibility for project execution lies with the West Bengal Pollution Control Board. A Project Implementation Unit (PIU) has been formed with the Project Director (PD) as the Head. Besides, there is provision for one Project Coordinator who assists the PD for overall coordination among the six cells formed for sectoral implementation of the scope of the project. These six cells are headed by Senior Officers of the WBPCB.
